PRESENTATION OF BITUMEN SURFACING
Bitumen surfacing referes to the application of a hot bituminous mixture comprising bitumen, aggregate, and sand. It is applied either with a machine or manually at ambient temperature, forming a layer of no less than 25mm thickness.

The layer that is applied to an existing bitumen surface is called an overlay. The anticipated lifespan of a tarred area is typically estimated to be between 10 to 12 years when properly maintained.

Patches: Repair work entails the removal, stabilization, re-compaction, and application of a hot SABS wearing course premix layer to the damaged areas. Clients have the option to revitalize both the existing premix and the new tar patches by applying a slurry seal to unify the appearance of the entire area.
